The Polar Hestar Team offers you a warm welcome!

There is always a lot to do at Grýtubakki. On our farm there are over 100 horses, nearly 250 sheep, many rabbits, some guinea pigs, chickens, cats and a dog!

Every year up to 20 probationers stay with us, most of them during the summer months. Normally we choose the members of our team in the end of the year. During the summer we only take workers staying for at least 6 weeks. Minimum age is 18 years.

Are you owner of a driving license? Are you vegetarian or do you smoke? Why do you want to make the experience? Please answer these questions while applying.

It is very important to us, that our helping hands have no problems working in a team, are hard workers, realize what has to be done, can work alone and with a lot of responsibility.
